Most large pieces of bushing cloth will have a cut edge and a torn
edge. If you examine it carefully, you will see which side should be torn.
What happened here is that you began tearing on the cut side and the cut didn't
follow the warp,(or woof) of the fabric. You can tear that odd shaped piece
into thinner strips, leaving only one small triangular shaped edge if you tear
it again, starting 9mm from the previously torn edge you did.
