wifi in lobby

I am at a motel, in Ohio, on my way to the convention.
The WIFI, is free, that is what I am using.
Why couldn't the PTG. set up a WIFI router, in a classroom, that could be
used after classes. They must be able to afford the hook-up, from petty
cash.
$10 a day, is a bit steep, on top of convention cost, and hotel.
