Terry, We were talking about the Festool line of shop equipment. If you go to the first post of the thread you'll see. ;-) Barbara Richmond, RPT ----- Original Message ----- From: Farrell To: Pianotech List Sent: Thursday, March 01, 2007 5:26 AM Subject: Re: Time for a new sander 1) Who are you? 2) What was demonstrated? 3) What is a "B"? (As if I don't know, but there is more than one piano manufacturer on the planet.) 4) "Slam dunk". Pa-leeeeeze..... in this day and age? Terry Farrell ----- Original Message ----- We had a demonstration at one of our NYC chapter meetings and, price notwithstanding, it was beyond awesome. I don't think you'll find them discounted anywhere anytime soon - they're at the beginning upslope of their product demand curve. I took the plunge simply because I value my lungs more than a couple hundred bucks. The demo I mentioned was less than two feet away from a brand new B and, at the end of the evening, there was not a speck of dust on it, period. When you look at the rest of the line and the cases and the health benefits, I think it's a slam dunk. JMO. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
