Strings dont need seating in this case... the bridge has swelled beyond 
the height of the bridge pins. I have it on good authority that the DC 
unit stopped working because the wicks haven't been changed.

    Not only that, but I'll bet you that the strings need to be knocked
    down on the bridge by now, too.......

         I'm not sure of the piano but I understand the Dampp-chaser
        system has quit working for some reason. Probably WAY out of
        tune by now.
