For those who may not have all their available seminar attending time MARC'd out on their calender, and might be interested... I'll be doing an all day class at the Pacific Northwest Conference (April 11-14) in Salt Lake City. I'll be talking about soundboard and rib design and function, bridge design and function, general belly work, downbearing issues and such. There will be a segment on pinblock design, fitting, and drilling in the piano, with a ground effects (hovercraft) drill press rig. A segment on shop tools, jigs, and methods will include a demonstration of my bridge notcher for the edification of the janitorial staff. I'll also have a rib feathering jig to demo if I can get the machine in the truck (pretty sure I can). We'll make some noise, make some mess, and hopefully have a good time in the process. Hope to see you there. Ron N
