For those needing a bit more direction to get a custom style entered in the
Verituner "box":
1. Turn on machine
2. press the "resume" button (loads your last tuning)
3. once in the tuning screen, press:
red menu button
arrow down to style
right arrow to expose new menu
down arrow to New Style
"Go" (far right, upper button - brings up the style directory)
press "Rename" (use buttons to type in Koval one for all, or any other
name)
save
The style editor screen should now be displayed. There are only 4 setpoints
listed, with one interval per note. There should be a square around A0.
Following the "recipe" I posted, A0 should have two intervals listed: A0 6:3
35% / 8:4 65% To end up with two boxes under A0, one showing a 6:3 OCT @
35% and the other showing an 8:4 OCT @ 65% follow these directions:
edit
arrow down to the .33 (beats per second) use the -.1 and -.01 buttons to
zero this out
arrow down to 100% - use the arrows to reduce this to 35%
save
Next, you will be adding new intervals and setpoints
insert (brings up a new interval box for A0)
edit
arrow down to 6:3 OCT
use the "CHANGE" button to cycle through options untill you get to 8:4
OCT
arrow down to 100% - use the arrow to reduce this to 65%
save
You will now be continuing to follow the "recipe" to enter and adjust
existing setpoints.
Next, you need to add a new setpoint for A1
insert (brings up a new interval box for A0)
edit
use the octave + button to move this interval up to A1
arrow down to 8:4 and change it to 6:3
arrow down to make 20%
save
insert......(you will be repeating the steps above to enter new
information and adjust existing setpoints)
Now you should have all the skills needed finish entering the style. All
beats numbers need to be 0.00, and A3 and A4 should have identical intervals
and percentages showing.
The pocket pc version is a little easier to work with, but if anyone has any
problems, drop me a line!
