A slight change of subject regarding Perlman's many talents. Years ago
on a Live From Lincoln Center in which he played, the last act of Rigoletto
was performed and he sang the bass role of Sparafucile - and very nicely. He's
also a gormet cook.
I have tuned for him many times. He loves to talk and has a good sense
of humor. It's always a pleasure to work with him.
