Strike angle

Uprights are raked 7 degress.  Grands 1degree

List,
            What  are NY S&S hammers supposed to be bored to for strike angle 
 ?   shouldn't they be close to 90 degrees ?  the ones  I received are bored 
around 8 degrees beyond that leaning to  the back.
