What century are YOU living in. My soundcard and speaker system plays
regularly downloaded MP3 music that can easily rival quite expensive
stereo equipment. Having been a sound engineer for several years in an
earlier life I feel more then qualified to make that statement. Mistake
me not... you cant equal a 50.000 dollar home audiophile extra fine blow
your reality picture away system... but you can do eons better then you
imply below.

Probably because everyone knows that people will listen to the
recording on
the 1" speakers in their computer monitor and still not have a clue
what the
piano really sounds like.
