And related to this is the bridge height.  Of course, it depends on whether
you are installing new bridge caps, a new soundboard, and a few other things
but leveling the plate in order to achieve a more uniform bridge height and
thereby string height is definitely a consideration.

I'm curious about how many rebuilders take into consideration string height
parameters when installing new blocks vs simply duplicating what was there
to begin with?
