Who will you rely on to keep track of hours versus pay for self employed
people?

Subject: Fairer Taxation
I have a proposal for a tax plan that I think would be great for America and
reward those who put in a full days work:
Set the income tax rate based on hourly pay, not yearly income. Amt.
earned per year / # of hours worked = income/hour.
In this system, people Allan works 1800 hours/year to make $75,000 would
be taxed at a lower rate than person Bill who works 1000 hours/year to make
the same amount. Allan who worked at $41.66 /hr would be taxed at say 10%
while Bill who worked at $75/hour would be taxed at 12%
I know piano tuners are independant thinkers, so that is why I am asking
your opinion.
Sincerely,
Chris Rawson, CPT, RPT,
