List:

I am Martin Wisenbaker, RPT in Houston, Texas. This week I spent 1 1/2
hours trying to determine why the left half of the hammers stand in mid
air at a slant where the mid section is only a little off the rest rail
down to the #1 hammer is past half way to the string, a straight slanted
line. I removed the action to see if the main rail was split. It was not.
I moved the sticker rail with stickers in up to the hammer rest rail and
all the hammers stayed in place. I replaced the action and the hammers
went back to the mid air position. All four action brackets fit properly
on the studs below (ball and socket) no looseness. The capstans were not
turned up in the bass. The keys lay flat on the back rail cloth. I could
not find the problem. Any suggestions anyone?

Thanks,

Martin Wisenbaker
