Hi Doug, How about using a shorter jack? ;-] Barring finding an appropriate jack for this piano, you could probably remove the jack along with it's neighbor, cut the new jack to proper length using the old one as a guide. Make sure to leave enough length to shape the tip of the jack appropriately, lube and re-install. William R.
