The shadow knows

I had a day's work scheduled at a church the day of the 
eclipse, and took a half hour around noon to go out and watch 
it. As the eclipse progressed, the round dots of light passing 
through the many small openings between the leaves of a tree I 
was standing beside, became crescents on the sidewalk. With 
the overall light dimming, and the lights and shadows at my 
feet mutating as I watched, it was pretty surreal.

February 7, 2008 in Sydney ought to do it nicely for the next 
one.
