Brake part cleaner frees seized-up Steinway action !!!!!

1911 K-52, lotsa sluggish notes caused by verdegris (
could see it sticking out of bushing ends ), blasted
hammer and wippen flanges with 1 can each of "CRC
Non-Chlorinated Brake Part Cleaner " ( the stuff in
the green cans, available at auto parts stores ) ,
worked hammer rail back and forth a  few minutes (
with action in cradle ) let dry overnight. ( Wore
mask, goggles and  gloves-contains xylene-nasty ,
nasty, nasty ! )
    Today, totally "freed up" !!! Wish I'd had a 
copuple  more cans ( for damper and jack flanges ).
