Action Center Question

Yamaha jacks are made from acrylonitrile-styrene
(http://www.ides.com/generics/AS.htm) and no, not to save money. By using
this material Yamaha can make a light weight, durable jack that does not
require burnishing.

If you found a way to save money, you'd be making a whole action, not just
one little part, don't ya think?

Subject: Action Center Question

Okay, so I decided to spend some time this evening looking into my Yamaha U1
I bought last year. The first thing I noticed was all the jacks are
plastic. Was that to save money?
