What odour animal glue has is slight and by no means unpleasant. I
sometimes have people come into my workshop and comment nostalgically
on the wonderful smell of the glue and the French polish.

I have no doubt that you are either quite unfamiliar with animal glue
or that you have so abused what you have met with that it has gone
rotten, which will never happen with properly kept glue.

>Nope. Contains thiorea-- a poison

You mean thiourea? Why don't the animals die of it if they have it
in their skin? No. Thiourea is a chemical that can be _added_ to
animal glues to make them liquid at room temperature and below. We
aren't talking of such preparations. Bichromate of potash can also
be added to hot glue to make it more waterproof for tropical climates.

Let's hear a bit less of your superstitions.
