Subject piano: Gors Hallman or Gors Hallerman ( a little hard to hear the
client), Serial No. 39225; birdcage action, burled walnut veneer, original
condition.

Sole Agents Carnegie & Sons Melbourne

This piano is a "heirloom," moved to the USA by the family about a decade
ago. The owners would like to know about its manufacturer-where and when it
was built, etc.-and want some idea about the cost of restoration for casual
use. The finish shows wear but no water marks or extensive veneer
damage-some splintered edges.

It was purchased by her grandparents in the early 1900's.

I've seen the piano when I was there tuning their Kawai grand. Does anyone
know anything about this instrument? Your replies will be much appreciated.
I know it's impossible to give any accurate estimate wit out seeing the
piano. They are hoping to find someone familiar with this brand, and if
"fixing it up" to keep it in playing and cosmetically good condition.

Thanks to all.
