??Jd ? Cool stuff.? A cream puff is what we call these. Nothing fishy about that ? Dale I have just recommenced work on this piano and am greatly looking forward to hearing how it sounds.? From the look of it when I bought it it had been kept for 100 years in an unused room gathering dust, never played and never tuned -- the perfect restoration candidate. I also have a 5'9" Lipp from 1907 but it is not constructed like this.? Whether this design was peculiar to the 6'6" model or whether it was discontinued on all models at the end of the century I don't know.
