Aart: A steel lyre would be something to have manufactured by a iron works shop. They could duplicate the wooden one, from a functional aspect not necessarily a cosmetic one, paint it black, and install the pedals, etc. It would cost a bit, but probably cheaper than carrying around a lot of spares.
