Whether one likes the Yamaha tonal model or not, one thing you can say about them is that they have consistently tried to improve their designs. The newer models have it hands down over the older ones. The G series were not nearly as good as the C series. Scaling is definitely an issue with many of them. Thus, I tend to steer customers toward newer when it comes to Yamaha. I get confused with the great variety of small "G"-series grands Yamaha made... like the GH1 thread we had going last month. Other sources I found online say yeah, but this forum is a better-known entity for me. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/msg/940125088.html (Helping a potential customer select a piano.)
