Bob- Order what you think you'll need I.e., student hammer, some mutes etc. Have the supply house ship them and give those tools to your son as a present. When your there show him how you would "touch up" a piano. -Lou ----- Original Message ----- From: RptBob1 at aol.com<mailto:RptBob1 at aol.com> To: pianotech at ptg.org<mailto:pianotech at ptg.org> Sent: Friday, December 19, 2008 4:53 AM Subject: [pianotech] Getting thru Airport security with a tuning hammer List: I will be flying to New England next week and wanted to take some tuning gear with me (to touch up my son's piano). I donot plan on checking any luggage; Question is: Has anyone had any problems getting a tuning hammer thru airport security ?
