Hi Tom,



I am full time at a music school and part-time privately.  My private schedule is usually booked a week or two in advance by incoming calls.  In October and November, the phone hardly rang at all.  Things have picked up a bit since then (after the initial "shock and awe" of what was happening to the economy wore off), but are not back to their formal level (which had held constant since Bush Sr. left office).

Has anyone noticed a slow down in business, due to the state of the economy? 
With all the talk of reduced consumer spending for Christmas, I wonder if this
