Held "Hostage" by Tiny Lookerson

How far do you extend the paranoia? Do you avoid being in homes when only
the woman of the house is home? Honestly, I have wrestled with that very
question. After all, the same charges could be made in such a situation. 

The proverb says "a curse without a cause will not alight." I choose to live
my life prudently but not in fear. With a strong belief in providence I also
know that should evil come my way it is for a purpose and good will
ultimately triumph. In the meantime I must be busy doing the work that
providence has given me, being careful to walk circumspectly, so that no
charge of evil can be justly brought against either my actions or my heart
attitudes. 

I am not primarily a piano tuner. I am an ambassador. My mission in life is
to spread love, peace and joy wherever I can (I realize I am far from
perfect in this goal, but it is my goal) and transcend the fear and paranoia
that can easily grip our culture. Piano tuning happens to be a great
vocation that allows my to maximize the number of people I can connect with
and fulfill my life calling (and feed my family at the same time!).

         Why?  It only takes one teenage girl/boy with 
anger/depression/hostility issues to falsely accuse you of molestation.  You
will instantly be 
arrested.  In a court of law, it will be impossible to defend yourself
completely 
against the word of a child,  and even if you do, the legal fees will
bankrupt 
you. You will NEVER again be free of suspicion and at worst, will find 
yourself listed as a sexual offender and life as you know it will be over.  
   I haven't found a tuning yet that was worth even coming close to risking 
that.
