Do the restringing first. Then measure the string height and you'll have your figures. There is no standard height on Steinways... really most instruments when it comes right down to it... but especially instruments that are put together the way Steinways are. Petrofs for example.... you simply have to measure each piano or copy the existing hammer line... which is also a bit iffy. Cheers RicB
