Cracked Piano Leg

In a recent move of a Charles Walter upright with the curvy legs I noticed  
the left leg was cracked where the arm and cheekblock area as if someone had  
tried to lift the piano from one end, mainly me. I guess the leg is glued to 
the  piano. Is this a fix best left to a furniture repairman or should I try to  
syringe glue and clamp it on my own? John Van Beek,  RPT
