Thanks to all who have contributed to my request for responses from my original post. They have been forwarded, if the reply all had not been hit, and now this pianist has information which will guide her and the "powers" to a wise decision or not. That's out of my hands. My hope, realized thanks, was that reputable people would agree in kind with a basic philosophy that one qualified tuner should regularly tune the pianos of a major venue. If I am to tune the pianos, fine. If they choose to use the other guy part of the time, then I am gone. Your responses will be informative- my hope, as I said, realized. thanks les bartlett
