Tried in vain to remove the fallboard from this Cable studio today. Any hints? The single (mangled) screw going in the top of the cheekblock is not the sole means of holding it down. Loosening any of the screws from below (whose function appears more oriented towards holding the lovely legs on) didn't loosen the cheekblock. I didn't remove the (apparent) leg mounting block completely to see if there are more screws behind it (mainly cuz I was able to sufficiently address the issue for which I was trying to remove the fallboard and was getting very frustrated), but any hints would be helpful for the next time the piano and I meet. (This was my first meeting with the piano, so I'm not responsible for the chewed up screw slots... arrggh!)
