When I tune pianos back in China many years ago,i repaired a few pianos like this. What i did is similar to what Tom did.I had a hand-made small plane which allow me to remove some material from the keylip. Keyslip ususlly touch keyfronts in a certain spot,it should be pretty easy to remore a few thousands of inch(or a little more) material. Baoli > Then I got out my wood file and started removing > wood from the inside of the keyslip. It only took about 15 minutes to remove enough wood that the keys had > clearance again and she had her piano back. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Never miss a thing.
