It’s a condition thing .I’d suggest calling a piano technician to check it
out.

Subject: Steinway Pianola Grand (repost)
I have a client who wants me to look at a circa 1913 Steinway Pianola. Can
you lead me to any information regarding the quality of these instruments,
or just based on your own experiences?
Thanks in advance,
Matthew
