re Split one piece bridge

Two methods:

1. Overlap 3/8" pin block plugs. Trim installed plug before drilling 
overlap :-)

2. Remove loose material in between pins. Fill gap with MarineTex paste epoxy.
      trim flush when cured, redrilll and renotch.
