They never did make "spinets" as far as I know but they did make 40" consoles with a direct blow action. The only pianos I've seen with 12-gague piano wire. I was never a fan. They dropped them from their line quite some time ago but within my 35 years in this business. dp David M. Wasn't aware they ever had. A gap in my education, I guess. <grin> Avery Todd On Tue, Sep 30, 2008 at 10:41 AM, Melvin Fletcher <melvinfletcher1 at gmail.com> wrote: Does anyone know where to get steinway spinet jack springs? Steinway doesn't sell them anymore and the ones from Schaff don't fit. I don't want to drill out every hole if I don't have to. I need a 3/4" tall spring w/ an outside diameter of 3/16" at the bottom. The ones Schaff sells are 7/32" Any info is appreciated. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
