Since I think you inquired about what pitch it was scaled for. I think it may be 435. My grandmother had a Cousin with a Model A Steinway from 1908 and he was convinced it was designed for 435 and tuned it to that. I think standard pitch was set at 440 in llike 1915. I have a 1908 upright and I tune it to 440 though. I'd wager it can handle it.
