Wow! 50mph! We had that the last two days. What a pain in the butt! Snow flakes, too, but nothing stuck! Much better than Fargo!! Anyway.. Try the Wurzen front rail felt punchings. For key dip use some thicker ones on the bottom, and gradually thin them out to the top....not too many, though. ...Dont make it a rainbow of colored punchings!! A good idea is to really polish the key pins and apply some McLube or Protek, or whatever you're favorite juice is to avoid "side-play" friction once it's regulated properly . You may need to re-bush the front rail bushings as well....check for really wobbly side play! Good extra work and pretty easy to do. Diagnosing the liquid aside the front rail and balance rail punchings are covered in a black goo and are hard. (Can a goo be hard?) Anyway what would be a suggested punching stack to start with so that there would be room for removals if necessary when the regulation begins? Any help is appreciated.
