Mark,

Wow!  Good job on getting climate control in the college!  That is
phenomenal.  And, as you pointed out, nothing will save pianos that reside
in one of the most difficult environments in which to control the climate,
which receive additional abuse on top of that.  Exposed to rain & snow?
Egad!  I feel for you.

Now, these moisture king systems.  I must confess I still don't see the
difference.  The Piano Life Saver systems are available either as a
half-system (dehumidifier and humidistat only) or a full system
(dehumidifier, humidifier and humidistat).  I'm not very familiar with the
Moisture King units other than to know they exist.  You say they are
available with a humidifier?  Where does the humidifier install?  Is it
similar to the PLS with pads over a heating element, or is it a fan unit, or
some other?  Enquiring minds, you know.......
