I would never deal with YP.com.  They really like to harrass you, PLUS, don't expect any pro-rated amount from them.

Not a recommendation in my book!

I got a call from my Yellow Page Rep today. For $37 a month I can have my just name and phone number. (I don't have a local phone company number, so it does cost me extra). For $75 a month I can have a bold listing, my web site as a 2nd line, and a phone #. For $85 I can have a 1/2 column ad, with name, services, PTG affiliation and my web site.

But he is pressuring me into having my name and web site on Yellowpages.com. He says they will "guarantee" 30 hits per month. (If I don't get 30 hits, the company refunds a prorated amount, based on the number of hits I did get). The cost is $125 per month.

I am not yet at the stage in my business development where I can live off just recommendations and repeat customers. It's getting there, but I need more.

Do any of you have experience with Yellowpage.com advertising you can share with me?

Wim
