Only if they've been wet, and are allowed to.


>Does cast iron get tired? 

It depends on how close to failure it's loaded at it's weakest 
casting flaw, and what sort of thermal and mechanical load 
cycling it's subjected to. The best indication you have that 
it's been on the edge these last 50 years is it's breaking.


>Do glass in a stain

Yes, it do, stained or not.
