You people on this list are so relentless on old upright pianos - treasures or not. >> It may be because many of us have had to tell the unsuspecting purchaser of a money pit that they have spent all their money on a piano that is unusable. There is such a thing called "a service life". After it is over, all that is left is an opportunity to make a bad investment. Some pianos need to be burned for the good of all.
