Terry Lambert ------------------------------------------------------------ John's condition has been upgraded to Serious but Stable, and the idiot who hit him is now also charged with a felony assault. Paul (John's brother) talked to the ICU nurse this morning and was told the following: John came out of yesterday's all-day surgery OK. The breathing tube was removed earlier this morning. He is alert and talking but dopey and depressed--which is expected at this stage of things. No time set for him to leave ICU. He will have surgery on his arm tomorrow. Yesterday's was leg and pelvis.
