could a piece of shim stock be cut/trimmed to size. It should be fairly available.

  Is there a method for reducting agraffe's without using the washers or the actual reducing tool.  I only have one to do and need just a little material removed.  If not I will order what is needed in the washers but would like to not have to wait for an order to come.
