In a pinch I've used balance rail punchings. The hole in the punching is too small for the stem of the agraff, but you can still get it to fill in the hole.

Subject: [pianotech] Agraffe Reduction

Is there a method for reducting agraffe's without using the washers or the actual reducing tool. I only have one to do and need just a little material removed. If not I will order what is needed in the washers but would like to not have to wait for an order to come.

Thanks in advance,
