Hi Al, I know what you mean about spinets. I tuned a Hennry F Miller yesterday pitch raise and tuning. I was amazed that it held after two tunings! The piano still sounded like a spinte tubby strings you name it. It had a "spinner" tuning pin so I had trouble getting it to stay in tune. Apparently anoter tech. did because I found this piece of felt to silence the string in the unison where the spinner pin was. I took the felt out and told her we could fix that pin on another visit. I had to get back to the schools and tune. Did anyone get the question I asked about Bechstein wippens? Thanks Marshall ps. is anyone getting snow besides me?
