Yes. That's 8 _Gigs_, by the way, not _megs_.

8 gigs is a huge amount of memory in traditional terms, plenty for TuneLab plus any other ETD that is likely to come out for iPod Touch.

TuneLab is available for the iPod Touch; I have it installed on my Touch. You will need to supply a mic of some sort; there are many mics available, although I suppose the easiest thing to do may be to buy an iPhone headset with mic built into that.
