Mark There could be many reasons why the keys feel "heavy". Poor action geometry, tight action centers, (wippens, hammer flanges, jacks, damper levers,) tight balance and./or front rail bushings, tight balance rail holes, are some of the more common reasons.?But before?attempting to find the problem, and correcting it, you?should ask the customer how he/she likes the?action.?You can explain that to you, the action feels heavy,?bt unless?he/she agrees with you, don't make any changes. ? I have a Baldwin "L". Made in 1994? The action at the keys seems very "Heavy". Some keys more than others, but from A0-C8 most of the keys are difficult to push. It's as if there is something under the keys holding them back.? Of course, there is not, but I am at a loss here.? Any suggestions?? ? Tank you...!? ? Mark D. Montbriand? ?
