For those of us who may just be totally obstinate and insist on placing their piano in front of southerly exposures. [I'm talking 30' floor to ceiling wall of glass fronted by 250' of a sunlight gathering reflection pond...comes complete with a fountain I might add] May I suggest a new product? There are some companies now that sell actual windows(not films) that are available with either electronically controlled tinting or go totally opaque. These can be programmed to match times of the day that the sun would affect the piano. For the low introductory price of tens of thousands of dollars(US) the lady of the house can have her every wish. The perfect gift for Valentine's day.
