"How Equal Temperament Ruined Harmony, and Why You Should Care" by Ross W Duffin Yes, I've read it. Not being as musically knowledgeable as some on the list, nor as knowledgeable as my musician sister, I think it is a wonderful book. I believe I first heard of it on this list, probably a couple years ago now. I bought it and brought it along on a trip to my parents' at a time when aforementioned sister was also there and she recommended it (and I finished the title as she started telling me about it!)
