Hi Shawn,

Yes, you´ve put your finger on one of the most anoying aspects of the life of the
piano tech. But I must say all things are relative. Work I´ve done on theatre pianos
to be paid by the bureaucratic, molasses moving government accountant here has probably broken world records_: 5-6 months?!Well the good side is you have plenty of time to think how best to spend it. On other occasions I inquire--"Who is responsible for paying and when will I be paid?"Another suggestion is to insist that the pianist (in the case of a show/presentation)is present when the piano has been tuned/regulated. It happens that when the pianist finally arrives (after you´ve gone), he may find fault and call backs are ____.
