If someone asks us to remove the lost motion, we do not make a big deal out of it. We just do it and charge for the service. If someone wants the piano tuned to 435Hz, we do it. If they want it tuned to the pitch of the pipe organ we do it and at the same time let them know the instability problems going both ways and charge accordingly. No big deal. Just charge for whatever amount of work there is extra. If they believe 442 is better, so be it.
