  thanks for the question.  To start, I have to admit I'm sortof proud, so my opinion will be a tad biosed.  But, it maintains longer string length than the steinway d in the mid range all the way to the top end, with 4-6" less in bass string length.  The piano is 8'2" The sound is incredibly robust, with a remarkable color range.  the high end lacks right now, but I have to add a piece of bronze to the capo and then we will see.  that should be completed in 2 weeks.  The bass growls, and the strings emit pure-tones with no overtones whatsoever.  they are wound through the bridge, all the way to the hitch!  So, it is even, warm, clear, and the bass is un-describable.  All that remains for me to put to the test is the last section.
