One of my clients wants to sell her 5'7" Mason & Hamlin / Ampico player grand. It was rebuilt & restrung by Howes Piano here in Denver. No cracks in board, it's at A=440, the player works. If the number stamped in the front of the action's front rail is the serial number, it's 34730, which would make it from 1926. Darn, I forgot to note whether the keytops were ivory or had been replaced with plastic. Nor did I pull the action or notice if it had new hammers and dampers. I was so concerned with getting it up to pitch, and had to rush cuz the owner had to leave. Nice tone, pretty well regulated. "Ebony" finish. About how much is it worth? How/where's the best place to sell it? --David Nereson, RPT
